Finance Assistant

The Role:
The Finance Assistant will support the Finance team throughout a period of growth in the business. You will be responsible for managing inboxes, processing data, credit control and a range of other finance tasks with exposure to the wider business. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to advance a career in corporate finance.
Responsibilities:
• Monitoring the finance inbox and responding as appropriate
• Chasing overdue debts on the sales ledger
• Investigating and managing invoice discrepancies through to resolution
• Preparing a report for monthly payment runs when required
- Preparing the monthly invoices when required
- Management of files relevant to finance
• Provide admin support as required
Essential skills:
• Has a minimum of a years’ experience using Xero
• Financial literacy is required
• Strong excel skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent organisation skills; confident to manage multiple tasks
• Strong work ethic
• A willingness to learn and help resolve problems
